The Carey family proudly presents our Traditional Amusements, bringing joy and excitement to communities in East Sussex and beyond. With a rich heritage rooted in the vibrant world of showmanship, we are dedicated to delivering a magical experience for families across Sussex, Kent, and Surrey.
Carey’s Traditional Amusements was lovingly restarted in 2018 by James Carey, who sought to continue his family’s legacy of entertaining the masses. What began as a heartfelt project to restore a single attraction quickly transformed into a flourishing enterprise. Inspired by the overwhelming support and enthusiasm of our community, we expanded our offerings even during the challenges of the “great British lockdown.” From one restored attraction, we grew to three, and our collection has continued to thrive ever since.
